Pantai Remis

Lazy morning at Beruas River, Pantai Remis..

 Dry curry noodle 乾撈咖哩麵 with dried fish, squid

& shrimps and an old styled, thick black coffee..

Fishing boats at fishery processing area by the Beruas River in Pantai Remis.

The Strait of Malacca is just after the mountain (a bluff almost like a

sentinel at the river mouth into the sea, left), as the mangrove

estuary opposite meanders farther inland towards Beruas..

Estate House, Tualang

British-era estate manager residence, fringe of Tualang..

A cluster of hardwood timber houses in excellent conditions and

a treasure trove of fruits, organic chicken, flowers and 甜筍

"sweet bamboo shoots" bigger than rhinocerous horns!

Dating back to the tin mining days.. they were

brought in by labourers from China.

Harvested a few to take home!
